St. Margaret Mary Elementary School was a Catholic elementary school in Staten Island, New York.
In September 1925, the school at Saint Margaret Mary's Mission Church began with 40 pupils.
Saint Margaret Mary Elementary School closed in June 2011 after the Archdiocese of New York withdrew financial support to the school. The closure of Saint Margaret Mary and 3 other Staten Island Catholic elementary schools were part of a larger initiative called "Pathways to Excellence", a strategic plan developed in recent years that the archdiocese said is intended to assure a vibrant future for the school system. By closing the four Staten Island schools, the Archdiocese will save $1.3 million.
